July 15, 2026 - Bridgewater Police Arrest Man Following Indecent Exposure Incident at Bridgewater Commons Mall

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Bridgewater Township Police Department has arrested a Bound Brook man following an investigation into reports of indecent exposure and the harassment of multiple female victims at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at approximately 7:03 p.m., Bridgewater Police officers responded to the Bridgewater Commons Mall after receiving reports of a male subject harassing female patrons and exposing himself inside the mall.

Upon arrival, officers, with the assistance of mall security personnel, quickly located the suspect and identified him as Josue Orellana, 23, of Bound Brook, New Jersey. The subsequent investigation determined that Orellana allegedly exposed himself to and harassed multiple female victims ranging in age from 14 to 25 years old.

Orellana was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following offenses:

• Harassment (N.J.S.A. 2C:33-4e) – Three counts (Fourth-Degree Crime)
• Lewdness (N.J.S.A. 2C:14-4a) – Disorderly Persons Offense

The charges were placed on a warrant, and Orellana was lodged in the Morris County Jail pending his initial court appearance.

The Bridgewater Township Police Department thanks the mall security staff for their prompt actions and cooperation, which assisted officers in quickly locating and apprehending the suspect.
